East End Dubs continues to increase the popularity of the Eastenderz label with the launch of a new sub-label; BELIEF. The goal of the new company is to expand and challenge expectations with a wide range of artists, highlighting new and emerging talent.

The brand launches with rising star Jesse Maas’ first drop on February 17. Jesse, that kind of artist who doesn’t sew without a thread, who knows what they’re doing at all times and leaves nothing to chance, although sometimes their decisions may seem unusual or out of place. And if, furthermore, after a consecration in the underground, we see him doing his thing with the ‘LTD’ EP, he leaves us even more surprised.

Continuing the shape of his already mature sound on various forward-thinking labels such as Berg Audio, PIV, Cecille and Blind Vision, with releases garnering support from influential names such as Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Toman and Chris. Stussy, to name a few!

The songs that are recorded on this album show the particular way of understanding Frink’s sound, located at the opposite end of what is commercial, what works, what works: what he does is, on the contrary, a kind of unstable magma of pulsations and glows, with melodic traces and blurred textures, pursuing a serene, spiritual, almost ascetic expression. All those languages and influences from which they drew dialogue on this record, creating new, different and highly evolved sound organisms.

The idea that drives this album refers us to one of the crucial attributes of music, and it is its inexhaustible capacity to generate moods that protect us at all times. Its meaning remains in the hands of lovers of electronic music, beyond the dance floor and all hedonism.

As this is only the beginning of new beginnings, there is no doubt that East End Dubs will look to curate and build the Belief brand with the same dedication and passion that has been given to Eastenderz and their artists over the years.
