Welcome to Miami Encode, where we celebrate the fusion of art and the world of music. Today, we are thrilled to present an exclusive interview with the Canadian sensation, Ana Pac. This multifaceted artist has been making waves on the music scene, and she’s now gearing up to release her highly anticipated single, “Good Vibes.” As we dive into a candid conversation with Ana, we’ll explore her creative process, her inspirations, and what fans can expect from this vibrant, feel-good anthem that’s sure to leave you humming.
As an artist, can you share how your own experiences and identity have shaped your approach to music and the messages you convey through your work?
As a kid, my mom would always tell me to approach every situation with a positive attitude. As you grow into an adult you go through certain trials and turmoils and we forget about that and let stress, worries and heart breaks take over. I got to a point where I needed to re-teach myself about my positive attitudes and good vibes in order to be happy again. So with my music, I want to be able to reach everyone and remind them that yes it’s possible to find that positive attitude once again.
The landscape of pop music has evolved to become more inclusive and diverse. How do you feel your music fits within this evolution, and what unique perspectives do you bring to the genre?
Being inclusive is one of my biggest “Must haves” when writing music I try to stay away from pronouns and gender descriptors so anyone singing along can feel like they can relate.
Representation in the music industry is crucial for inspiring and empowering the LGBTQ+ community and others. Can you discuss a moment in your career where you felt the impact of your work on a fan or the community as a whole?
When “Bite The Rainbow” came out I received multiple messages from fans saying that after they heard the song they felt like they were finally allowed to just live as whoever they truly are without the pressure of having to fit into a certain box. Which is probably the most important message I try to spread. Just Be you and Believe in you!
Many artists use their platform to advocate for social change and raise awareness about important issues. What specific causes are you most passionate about, and how do you integrate them into your music and public persona?
Accepting everyone for who they are and allowing space for everyone to actually take the time and go on their own journey of figuring out who they truly are by being supportive and kind. My songs are about the more we uplift each other to be our authentic self the more beauty and progress will be seeing in our world.
Collaborations can provide powerful opportunities. Are there any artists that you would love to collaborate with, and why do you feel drawn to their work?
I adore Barry Manilow. From his older songs to his new releases he has this feel good, up beat attitude that is very magnetic and relatable. Which is exactly the type of message I like to spread with my music as well. And of course there’s also Lizzo who is also brilliantly bringing good vibes to the people with her uplifting music.
Can you share a personal story or experience that has inspired your songwriting?
Re-learning to find happiness within myself was a journey that will always remember. It took some trials and errors but I did end up getting there. It’s a journey that was 100% worth it as today I’m living my best life and have met the most wonderful people. When I wrote “Good Vibes” I had that journey in mind. It was the discipline to wake up every morning and chose to have the best day, the discipline find the good in every situation, as well as knowing that if I surrounded myself with people who were on the same journey that we would all uplift each other.
Pop music has a unique ability to resonate with a wide audience. How do you balance creating catchy, accessible tunes with delivering impactful messages?
Pop music is so great when it comes to being mouldable which is why it resonates with so many people. You can be as elaborate as you want in the verses and then keep the same sentiment in the chorus while making it catchy.
The visual elements of your music – including music videos, album art, and live performances – How do you approach the creative process behind these visuals, and what role do they play in amplifying your message?
The visuals are always colourful, bright and fun. I want to make sure I catch your eye. As for performances, I have a background in dance and choreography so while I write a song with my team I always make sure that I every element I need to accomplish what I visualize being performed on a stage.
Can you discuss any trailblazers who have inspired your work, and how their contributions have paved the way for your own career?
Justin Bieber makes amazing music. The way his sounds and melodies prompt me to want to dance is a huge influence. Lizzo is another artist who inspires me. She is releasing beautiful music that makes everyone feel good and accepted and that’s what we need more of in this world.
Looking ahead, what goals or aspirations do you have for the future of your music?
The dream is to sell out arenas as well as have my music picked up by movies and tv shows
Where can people find you next?
I’m always active on my socials, TikTok Ana_Pac as well as IG AnaPacOfficial
