Launching out of New York City, Mirror Machine are an exciting new production duo ready to make their mark on today’s electronic music scene. Raising acclaim with label debut releases This Never Happened (Pray For Rain EP) from Lane 8, as well as Anjunadeep (Remind Me Why EP) from Above & Beyond, Mirror Machine are set to add another strong addition to their burgeoning catalogue.
The latest release from Mirror Machines is the recreation of the iconic cinematographic piece “End Titles” from the soundtrack of the original “Blade Runner” movie. Recorded in April 2022, the passing of Maestro Vangelis on May 19 brings this recording to a place of reverence and homage to one of the greatest film composers of all time. “Blade Runner (End Titles),” commemorating the 40th anniversary of the original release, debuts June 23 via No Neon, headlined by recent Juno Award winner HNTR.
Mirror Machine consolidates itself with this remix with a more refined sound, but also raised from a creative point of view necessary to avoid falling into lethargy or boredom, to which the genre tends by inertia. This remix is a rarity that connects this producer with new sounds, but without losing its festive essence, where the differences between musical styles and eras mix and harmonize, with tremendous lightness. Mirror Machine has shown us this with his remix of him, because in dark times, good music is not only made of electronic darkness.
