There are artists who, in order to go beyond their sound, have to get rid of their original name and create another, but then there are others who, in order to go further, have to rediscover themselves again, to create a sound whose starting point is not born both from the attempt to cross borders and to recover them. This is the case of producer Ribé, who recently released Las Noches LP on the PoleGroup label.

Las Noches LP is a serious work, painstakingly cared for, that lends itself to starting it and not returning to reality until it is finished: the headphones are like the oxygen cylinder that allows you to dive to the bottom of this great sound rotation, of this cosmic orbit, and being there in a state of hypnotic fascination. The result is a very lively work and a warm and deep bass line, with a soft voice to match. Marking a pivotal moment in the project, it solidifies its place within the field of music.

In this world where speed is desperately sought and attention deficit is so high, such an album will be misunderstood among many people, even dismissed as really important. But you just have to have the patience and the will to stop, to breathe, to sink into it, to hold on there as long as you can, and admire its interior.
